Great to catch up with some members of the Southern Illawarra Men’s Shed today. This newly formed men’s shed received a $8090 grant under the 2019 Community Building Partnership program to construct a new kitchen at their premises in Oak Flats.
Men’s sheds are so valuable within our communities. They provide a safe and busy environment for men to come together and enjoy an atmosphere of old-fashioned mateship, whilst contributing to the local community.
Thank you to the Southern Illawarra Men’s Shed for giving me a grand tour of their new premises, which once complete, will be a great space for local members to come together.
