It took Barry Milliken, Eric and Peter Taylor to part with a Piano Stool, Barry made at Southern Illawarra Men’s Shed for Warrigal’s Residential Care Home at Shell Cove.
Lexy Varshawsky Warrigal’s Community Facilitator, was delighted to receive the work and placed it in the home for use by the residents .
The Stool is an example of the fine work the SIMS members are capable of and is small mark of appreciation for the generous support Warrigal has been enabling SIMS to be established in the first place. SIMS men trust this will be the first of a continuing relationship.
Of course now that the shed is fully operational, men from the Shell Cove, Albion Park Retirement Villages and surrounding areas are more than welcome to visit the shed at 121Industial Rd, Oak Flats and / or seek membership.
